RIP Bo Diddley
It is with sadness that I'm announcing the death of Bo Diddley on this blog. Bo Diddley was a leading blues rock pioneer. He passed away today (Monday, June 2nd) at the age of 79 from heart failure.
Bo Diddley was credited for creating the "Bo Diddley beat," a distinctive beat that helped form rock n' roll and became synomous with him and can be seen and heard even to this day.
Bo Diddley was also known for playing his signature rectungalur shaped guitar, a guitar that I actually had the pleasure of seeing last year at Henry Ford Museuam's exhibit, "rock stars cars and guitars."
Bo Didley's biggest single is his self-titled 1955 classic "Bo Diddley."
The below video is my little tribute to a man with great talent.
Also for recommended Bo Diddley downloads:

2)Roadrunner
3)Willie and the hand jive
4)Hey good looking
5)Mumbling guitar (This one sounds REALLY cool!
Really cool video from around the later sixties. Bo plays his signature guitar and dances as well!
